Project Details:
Why not bring a little piece of Tahoe to your backyard? The oak trees, open green space behind this property, and the existing style of the home made designing a natural escape quite easy. The rockwork seen around the pool is a gathering of local Sierra Boulders and using their color scheme to then match the flagstone, tile (which is actually cut from stone as well), ledgestone, and concrete color. The waterfall is perfect size to give the ambiance of a babbling brook- both relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. There were some various elevations to consider in the backyard but we took the opportunity to create an outdoor space separating the BBQ Kitchen and pool area- ideal for entertaining both the adults and children.
