Natural/Freeform Pool Design

The beauty of Placer County is unmatched, so instead of competing with the surroundings, these designs aim to naturally fit the space. Local masonry materials, rock waterfalls, and earth tones are sure to make your pool feel like it was meant for your backyard all along.

Project Details:

This pool was all about functionality and fitting ultimate entertainment space in a small yard limited by staggering elevations. Steve and Shari knew they wanted a spa to enjoy quiet Loomis evenings together, but also a small pool to play with their grandchildren when they visited. Add a firepit and a dining area to the plans and now you’ve got the full package. The layout focused on symmetry and gave the otherwise natural looking materials a fresh and elegant look. Two sheer descents on either side of the spa provides water noise and a fun play feature for the grandchildren. Warm tones from the stone work, tile, and concrete keep this pool nestled into the hillsides landscape. We love the mix of the 2″ x 2″ stone tile on the raised spa while matching a different stone work on the front of the pool. Its a perfect balance of modern and rustic.
